Ethel and Albert

(4.8 stars; 2 reviews)

The Ethel and Albert radio series was created by the incredibly prolific Peg Lynch, who wrote and acted in the series. The program, which began in the early 1940s, was a husband and wife comedy that captured the incongruity and humor found in the mundane aspects of everyday life.

Starring Peg as Ethel Albuckle and Alan Bunce as Albert during its most popular years, the series reflected real-life experiences and the laughter that could be found in them. These recordings are from the original transcriptions, with dates verified from Peg Lynch's own papers. Until their posting here, these recordings were believed to be lost.
